Chula Vista Smart Cycling Session 1 Learn to safely ride with traffic

Class description:
This is a great opportunity to learn how to ride your bike safely! League-Certified instructors will share their wealth of knowledge and make sure you leave feeling comfortable riding on the road and in traffic.
***This class is divided into two essential portions: A Classroom Session and a corresponding Road Session.
This gives participants the chance to take the information and skills learned in the classroom and be able to practice on the road with instructors!
The Classroom Session 1 is a pre-requisite to the Road Session 2.
This Classroom Session 1 will cover: your legal rights and responsibilities, guidelines for safely riding in traffic, how to negotiate all San Diego County roads and intersections, emergency maneuvers, using public transit as a cyclist. It takes place in a classroom, you will not be riding your bike. Please bring your bike because we will be teaching how to fix a flat tire.
