A Free intermediate class for adults who know how to ride a bike, but may not feel comfortable riding on the road 

Course will cover:
– Proper bike and helmet fit
– Your legal rights and responsibilities
– Safety tips for riding in traffic
– Improving your bike handling skills
– Emergency maneuvers
– Using public transit with your bike

Also get hands on training in: 

– Flat tire repair secrets
– Adjustments
– Minor repairs
– Quick fixes

Classes are led by League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors.

Please bring a bike and a helmet. For those without bikes, the first 5 registered will have access to a free Deco Bike Rental. All students will recieve bike lights.

Funding is provided by the California Office of Traffic Safety
