Oceanside Smart Cycling – Classroom Session 1

This is a great opportunity to learn how to ride your bike safely! League-Certified instructors will share their wealth of knowledge and make sure you leave feeling comfortable riding on the road and in traffic.

Course will cover:

– Proper bike and helmet fit
– Your legal rights and responsibilities

– Safety Tips for riding in traffic
– Improving your bike handling skills
– Emergency maneuvers
– Using public transit with your bike

Also get hands on training in:

– Flat tire repair secrets
– Adjustments
– Minor repairs
– Quick fixes

Classes are led by League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructors.

Please sign up for a classroom portion and a road portion. The class portion is a pre-requisite to the road portion. Lunch will be provided during the road session and a free tail light will be awarded along with a certificate for all graduates at least through the June, 2016 road class.
