Smart Cycling Road Session II – Oceanside

The Smart Cycling Road Session II is for students who have completed the Classroom Session I. It includes

1. Parking lot drills where you will increase your bike handling skills and learn some emergency maneuvers to avoid motor vehicle collisions
2. Riding on a variety of local streets and bike paths while practicing proper lane positioning and performing safe and legal turning maneuvers.
3. About 12 miles of riding with frequent stops. Casual riding pace.

4. A written exam at the end of the class. Free taillight and Certificate for all graduates. Taillights provided by City of Oceanside.

COVID-19 safety: All students and instructors are required to either be vaccinated or wear masks. Vaccinated folks may choose to also wear an optional mask.
