Bicycle Friendly Driver Course

Drivers and cyclists have the same rights on the road, but navigating the street on a bike and in a car feel very different. Riding side by side, exiting bike lanes, passing traffic… many of these maneuvers are legal, but do you know where and when?
Join The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition and the City of Carlsbad for a Bicycle Friendly Driver Course, based on information from the League of American Bicyclists.
Learn the road rules as they apply to both cars and bicycles in this 1-hour long class. We’ll teach you how to drive legally, safely and respectfully as you share roadways with people on bikes.
