Carlsbad Smart Cycling Road Session II

Event duration: 9am-3pm

The Smart Cycling Road Session II is for students who have completed the Classroom Session I. It includes (1) parking lot drills where you will increase your bike handling skills and learn some emergency maneuvers to avoid motor vehicle collisions and (2) riding on a variety of local streets and bike paths while practicing proper lane positioning and performing safe and legal turning maneuvers.

The class is free and open to the public for all people ages 16 and up. You do not have to be an expert bicycle rider to take this course.

Lunch will be provided for all who participate. All who graduate from this class will recieve a bike light, and a certificate of achievement from the League of American Bicyclists.
