OH! SD Barrio Bike Tour

SD Cycling Public in collaboration with Open House San Diego offer a tour by bike of some of Barrio Logan’s lesser-known urban design-finds.
The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition will be at the start of the ride (Advanced Metal Forming Building) from 10am to 12pm helping people register their bicycles on Bike Index.
This 2.5 hour tour will casually take us to 4-5 locations around the central core of Barrio Logan. This is short 3-4 mile flat ride and is appropriate for riders and families of any level. We will spend 20 minutes at each location- a brief orientation only. We hope to visit a combination of makers, local landmarks and places of cultural or historic interest. Coffee will be served at the 10:30 start. Our tour ends amidst tacos stands, eateries and breweries if you wish to stay for lunch. All riders must wear masks. Bring a helmet and a bike lock. You alone are responsible for the safety and security of yourself and your bicycle. Limited to the first 25 riders.

Custom fabricators, an Airstream trailer restorer, a hidden oceanfront park, low-riders and alley-art are on the agenda. Not a bike ride – rather a neighborhood tour by bike. Your $25 donation supports the San Diego Community Bicycle Center in Liberty Station.
