Get on a bicycle and explore historic homes, community gathering spaces and public art that memorializes and celebrates the LGBTQI+ Community in Central San Diego. The ride starts a Bird Park. From there it’s a 10-mile guided bike ride through University Heights, North Park and Balboa Park, with an opportunity to hear from guest speakers about former venues, art and sites of community activism.

A history of how Hillcrest’s business district has developed and become a haven for the LGBTQI+ community in San Diego.
