Women+ on Wheels Webinar

May 24 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Virtual Event
What’s it like to be a women+ who rides bikes? How have your experiences shaped the way you ride and where you ride?
Let’s explore bike culture from a women’s perspective!  Learn, laugh, complain and connect!
Join us for an interactive panel discussion with amazing bicyclists, organizers and advocates.

SPEAKERS (featured left to right in photos below)

  • Josie Fouts (she/her), mad scientist single-handedly discovering the human body’s limitlessness as an elite Paracyclist
  • Paulo Outon, owner of LACyclery
  • Alex Flores, advocate for a radically intersectional feminist cycling ethic
  • Wendy Engelberg, Director Girlz Gone Riding

This event is focused on the experiences of people who identify as women, trans, femme, queer, non-binary, gender non-conforming. If you don’t identify with any of these and you would like to be involved, please reach out to Sylvie@sdbikecoalition.org for more information.

This event is free! However, donations go to paying the presenters so please donate if you can.

  • A donation of $30 or more gets you a free pair of Women+ on Wheels socks by our sponsor, SockGuy
  • Want to win some Pearl Izumi swag? If you live in San Diego County, all you have to do is log a bike ride on May 24th using our Love to Ride platform and you’ll be entered in the prize drawing!

Closed captions and Spanish translation available by request. Contact sylvie@sdbikecoalition.org

Do you have a question that you’d like to ask of our expert panel?

Many thanks to Love to Ride, Vie Cycle, Sockguy and Pearl Izumi for sponsoring this event!
