Women+ on Wheels is brought to you by 
Vie Cycle.
During this 2 hour event you’ll hear from four exceptional women+ who are making big moves in the bike world. They will share stories and advice about the experience of being a women+ who rides bikes.
This event is focused on the experiences of people who identify as women, trans, femme, queer, non-binary, gender non-conforming. If you don’t identify with any of these and you would like to be involved, please reach out to Sylvie@sdbikecoalition.org for more information.
Meet the panelists!
Wendy Engelberg (she/her)
Wendy is the Director of Girlz Gone Riding. She'll talk about how her passion for riding with other women led to the birth of a club that now has chapters all over the United States!
Paula Outon (she/her)
Paula is the owner of LACyclery in Los Angeles CA. She'll share about her experience as a professional mechanic, bike shop owner and the importance of protecting the rights of trans youth in sports.
Alex Flores (she/her)
Alex is an advocate for a radically intersectional feminist cycling ethic. As a bike commuter and daily rider she'll offer some tips and discuss the importance of accepting all kinds of cyclists in order to grow the movement!
Josie Fouts (she/her)
Josie is a mad scientist single-handedly discovering the human body's limitlessness as an elite Paracyclist. She's training for the Paralympics and she'll talk about the connection between hormone cycles, diet and training routines.
