Blvd to Beach Community Bike Ride

Join us on Saturday, June 29th for a coastal bike ride, free lunch and your chance to discover what Silver Strand has to offer!

Meet at 10:30AM at Pepper Park. Ride out at 11:00AM. We’ll ride the Bayshore Bikeway to Silver Strand State Beach. At Silver Strand we will enjoy free lunch and hear directly from @CAStateParks Staff about what Silver Strand State Beach has to offer! 

Be sure to get your bike tuned up beforehand at your local bike shop. We recommend City Heights based @staytruecycleworks!  We highly encourage to bring spare innertubes in case of flats. 

Plan for a round trip beginner paced ride.  There will be a few breaks along the way.

We can’t wait to lead this ride and be joined by our partners @cityheightscdc!

Helmets are REQUIRED for all riders.  We can provide free helmets with a minimum of a 4-day advance notice.

Schedule

• 10:30am Meeting at PepperPark
• 11:00am Bike ride starts
• 1:00pm Free lunch at Silver Strand State Beach**

Enjoy a Free lunch while you listen to a presentation from the CA State Park staff.

**The ride is approximately 20 miles round trip and it may take up to 2.5 hours to arrive at Silver Strand State Beach.  After lunch, you are welcome to join ride leaders back to Pepper Park via the same route. Anticipate returning to Pepper Park between 4-4:30pm.
