City Cycling – Scripps Ranch

The Scripps Ranch Civic Association and the City of San Diego, in partnership with the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, is offering this which will teach road rules, where to ride, general bike safety, emergency maneuvers, legal rights, and responsibilities and will include a guided road ride to put your new skills into action!

Classes are open to e-bike riders of all ages. Class content applies to both regular and e-bikes with pedals. The 3-hour class is broken up into 3 parts: lecture, skills drills, and road riding.

All classes are held at the Scripps Ranch Community Center, 11885 Cypress Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92131.

Class sizes are limited so register now! You will need a bicycle for this class. Make sure your bike is in good working order and ready to ride! Some cycling experience is required, this is not a "learn-to-ride" class.

This class is for community members ages 12 and up.

Youth under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or designated guardian, and all youth under 18 must have a parent or guardian drop them off, and sign a waiver.

• We highly recommend that parents/guardians take this class with their children so they can both learn the skills and road rules and hold each other accountable.
