Discover the Joy of Confident Cycling!

Are you ready to take your cycling skills to the next level? Whether you're new to biking, exploring e-bikes, or a seasoned rider looking to boost your confidence, our City Cycling Classes are here for you!

A 3-Hour Class for a Lifetime of Safe Cycling

This engaging, hands-on course will teach you everything you need to know to bike confidently in San Diego, whether you're navigating city streets or enjoying separated bike paths. It's perfect for ages 12 and above, and e-bike riders will gain essential skills to avoid costly mistakes.

The class is divided into three parts: classroom instruction, parking lot drills, and street riding. You will get to practice essential riding skills with the help of a certified cycling instructor.

Class content applies to both regular and e-bikes.

Class sizes are limited, so please register only if you are sure you can attend. If, for any reason, you cannot participate, please let us know as soon as possible so that others can have the opportunity to join and access the class they need for themselves and/or their families.

You will need a bicycle and a helmet for this class. Please make sure your bike is in good working order and ready to ride. Some cycling experience is required; this is not a "learn-to-ride" class.

This class is for ages 12+. A parent or designated guardian must accompany youth under 16, and all youth under 18 must have a parent or guardian drop them off and sign a waiver. We highly recommend that parents or guardians take this class with their children, allowing them to learn the skills and road rules together and hold each other accountable.

Helmets are REQUIRED for all riders.
