World Day of Remembrance San Diego

Join Families for Safe Streets San Diego and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition as we unite with organizations around the globe in honoring the World Day of Remembrance for the 1.3 million people killed in preventable traffic crashes each year.
We will honor the 294 individuals who were killed in San Diego traffic crashes last year, hear stories from their loved ones, and call on our elected officials to invest in proven road safety solutions.

Families for Safe Streets San Diego is a group of families who have lost their loved ones to traffic violence. Our goal is to save future lives by advocating for safer streets and driver accountability while supporting each other in the process. We are dedicated to revolutionizing our road system so that no other families have to go through the pain that we have experienced.
