A bike class for everybody!

An in-class and on-the-road bike education program for anybody!

Not comfortable on the road? Get ready for your commute as we cover general bike safety, legal rights and responsibilities, and emergency maneuver skills. Course includes 1.5 hour classroom learning, 2.5 hours on bike drills/on-road riding. There will be a break for lunch, where we will ride to a restaurant. You can also pack your own lunch.

What to bring: a bike and a helmet, water, a packed lunch or money to buy lunch.

Don't have a bike? Don't worry! The first 5 to register will have access to a rental bike!

All kids who participate need to already know how to ride a bike and have parent permission to participate.

*Receive a free helmet and lights upon completion of this course. This program is brought to you in partnership with the Malcolm X Library and paid for by the California Office of Traffic Safety.
