The City of La Mesa, in partnership with the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, offers classes that will teach road rules, where to ride, general bike safety, emergency maneuvers, legal rights, and responsibilities and will include a guided road ride to put your new skills into action!
Classes are open to e-bike riders of all ages. Class content applies to both regular and e-bikes. The 3-hour class is divided into 3 parts: lectures, skills drills, and road riding.
Classes are held at the San Diego County Library - La Mesa, 8074 Allison Ave, La Mesa, CA 91942.
Class sizes are limited so register now! You will need a bicycle for this class. Make sure your bike is in good working order and ready to ride! Some cycling experience is required, this is not a "learn-to-ride" class.
