Lime First Ride Academy

First-of-its-kind 60-minute interactive and hands-on electric scooter safety session + ride along. Designed for riders ages 18+ to learn the rules of the road and demo a Lime electric scooter in a safe and contained environment.

The First Ride Program will be divided into three parts:

Introduction to Scooter Safety: Training on how to use the Lime app, core safety values and how to inspect electric scooters before riding (S.W.I.F.T. Safety Check)
Hands-On Demo: Attendees will learn how to ride safely on the street and complete live exercises including turning, accelerating, braking, lane positioning and responsible parking
Ride Along Tour: Participants will be able to ride a predetermined 30-min route alongside a trained electric scooter guide!
Riders must be 18 years or older to participate. Riders must be signed up as a Lime user ahead of the event.
