This is a great opportunity to learn how to ride your bike safely! League-Certified instructors will share their wealth of knowledge and make sure you leave feeling comfortable riding on the road and in traffic.

***This class is divided into two essential portions:  A classroom session and a corresponding Road Session.
This gives participants the chance to take the information and skills learned in the classroom and be able to practice on the road with instructors!

This Classroom Session 1 will cover: your legal rights and responsibilities, guidelines for safely riding in traffic, how to negoatiate all San Diego County roads and intersections, emergency manuevers, using public transit as a cyclist.

This League of American Bicyclists certified class is led by League of American Bicyclists Cycling Instructors.

Upon completion of the Road Session, graduates will be given a diploma and one year membership to the San Diego County Bike Coalition (https://sdbikecoalition.org), a $25 value.
