Ride the Point Fundraiser (Partner Event)

The Jim Krause Memorial Charity Bicycle Ride of Point Loma is a ride in memory of our Point Loma Rotary fellow Jim Krause who unfortunately passed away 2012 from pancreatic cancer. We are putting this event together to raise awareness and funds to research and hopefully one day, a cure.

Each year we donate the majority of the funds to UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center who is dedicated to translating promising scientific discoveries into new options for the care of cancer patients. Founded in 1979, it ranks among the top centers in the nation conducting basic and clinical cancer research, providing advanced patient care, and serving the community through outreach and education programs. This event includes a Family Ride, Enthusiast Ride, and Metric Century routes that will be clearly marked with course marshals located at major turns.  Click HERE for ride/route details.

• 25 mile enthusiasts ride
• 62 mile metric century

Rides depart between 7:00AM and 8:00AM depending on distance.  All rides on exclusive scenic routes through beautiful San Diego, CA.
