CalBike’s Winning Campaigns Leadership Training will strengthen the campaigning skills of up to 20 advocates. The training teach how to set goals, get media attention, identify targets and win arguments with policy makers and the public as necessary to get a ‘yes’ vote on your most important campaigns. Previous trainings have resulted in winning campaigns for controversial bike lanes, freeway removal projects, a new “safe routes to school” program. Join us! To register click here.
IT’S ALWAYS BETTER TO WIN
Starting Friday night, January 22 and continuing in an intensive but fun session all day Saturday. The training will teach participants how to set goals, get media attention, identify targets and win arguments with policy makers and the public as necessary to get a ‘yes’ vote on your most important campaigns.
Having trained volunteers and advocates is like generating hundreds of hours of time spent in the service of getting a new and perhaps controversial bike lane, a traffic reduction proposal, or a new sales tax with a big bike component.
