14th Annual Community Bike Ride
Ride the bridge, Bike the Bay!
Pedal around the San Diego Bay on August 22nd 2021 and enjoy your only opportunity to ride across the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge. This non-competitive community bike ride is for riders of all abilities and will take you on a scenic, and primarily flat, ride around the San Diego Bay via the Bayshore Bikeway. Along the way, riders will travel through the surrounding cities of Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and National City before finishing back at the start/finish line at Embarcadero Marina Park in downtown San Diego. At Otay Valley Regional Park, an offroad gravel loop option is available to ride in addition to the ride, hosted by the San Diego Mountain Biking Association.
Proceeds from the event benefit the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, sdbikecoalition.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the safety, connectivity, and quality of life for all who ride in San Diego.
Interested in volunteering? Volunteers are needed for: Event Registration, 4 Rest Stops, Course Monitors, Course Bike Marshals, Post-ride Festival, Set-up and tear down. We sign for community service hours! Perfect for your work group, high school/college/university club, too!
