Free Bikes 4 Kidz Collection

Donate your gently used bikes to Free Bikes 4 Kidz!
Free Bikes 4 Kidz San Diego has teamed up with Trek Bicycles to do a one day collection event. Drop off your used bikes at any Trek Bicycle Store in San Diego County on January 8th between 10am and 3pm.
Your donated bikes will be refurbished and distributed to youth in Southeastern and South Bay San Diego communities. Bikes that are not salvageable will be stripped for parts and recycled or re-used for art projects. We aim to be a zero-waste program!

Trek La Mesa- 8495 Fletcher Pkwy, La Mesa, CA
Trek South Bay– 3901 Bonitas Road, Bonita, CA
WE CAN ACCEPT:
- 12″- 20″ wheeled kids bikes
- 24″-29″ wheeled adult bikes
- 700C wheeled road bikes
- bikes with scratched paint or stickers
- tricycles
- tandems
- cargobikes
- ebikes that work!
- bike locks that work
WE CANNOT ACCEPT:
- bikes that are missing wheels
- bikes that are missing handlebars
- bikes that have cracked frames
- bikes that are not rideable
- used helmets
- ebikes with dead batteries
Volunteers are an essential part of Free Bikes 4 Kidz!
