Joy Ride 2021 is a two-day event, starting with our virtual Golden Gear Awards.
The 2021 Golden Gear Awards are brought to you by Lyft!
Join us as we celebrate and thank all the people who have played a vital role in our work this year! The Golden Gear recipients are people and organizations who have gone above and beyond to help make our region more bike friendly in 2021.
Awards being presented this year include:

- Advocate of the Year- Mary McGuirk
- Bike Shop of the Year- Rad Power Bikes
- Volunteer of the Year- Kristine Schindler
- Bike Friendly Business- Fall Brewing Company
- Elected Official of the Year- Sean Elo-Rivera
- Bike Club of the Year- Blind Stoker’s Club
- Educator of the Year- Darrell Steele
- Platinum Pedal- Brittany Bailey
