Light up your bikes, wear your best/ugliest holiday attire (the crazier the better) and come and enjoy the holiday spirit with us!
Friday, December 10th will begin with a festive light-your-bike ride through Balboa Park and Uptown and end back at the Plaza de Panama Fountain for a family friendly celebration of bikes, and the Holidays!
SDCBC will also be having a clearance of all our SDCBC t-shirts, stocking stuffers. So get there early to snag a great deal!
This event is family friendly and FREE. Your registration includes the ride. Donations earn you raffle tickets.

This year our Golden Gear Awards will be virtual. Join us on Zoom on December 8th at 6pm to celebrate and appreciate the Golden Gear Recipients!
Joy Ride route
It’s about 4 miles. Mostly flat. Very small gradual uphill at the start.
All ages and skill levels welcome. No one left behind and we go nice and slow.

We’ve got volunteer opportunities! Come set up, clean up or ride marshal at the event!
This year we are partnering with LightMeUp Safety Lights to make sure your bike is lit!
Find the LightMeUp Safety Lights canopy near the Plaza de Panama Fountain from 4:30pm-6pm and come get some wheel lights installed.

Need some last minute bike repair? We’ll be joined by John from Stay True Cycleworks. He’ll be providing mobile bike repair throughout the event!
